xyy design is an Industrial Design Studio based in Brescia, Italy. Founded by Matteo Buffoli after graduating cum laude in Design & Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and gaining experience at companies such as Flos and Luxottica.

We apply a methodology based on rigour, simplification, and creative freedom—delivering solutions that stand out for their quality and distinctive character. Our services support design studios and companies in developing new products. It fosters tailored, flexible collaborations, ensuring solutions that align with each project's objectives.

Since its foundation in 2019, the studio has collaborated with various clients, including Cassina, Faber, Ghidini, MIR, Qeeboo, Sesami and Studio Volpi. Along its journey, xyy design has also received prestigious recognition beyond its client appreciation, such as: Good Design Award 2024 - Spirobank II Plus Ideas x Wood 2020 - Special mention.
